Why donate to the CAMP?
Your financial support has a direct impact on providing opportunities for independent Christian artists to share their message and music at 4thFridays and in institutions such as prisons.
Christian venues such as 4thFridays are diminishing, leaving very few opportunities for independent artists to share original music. The CAMP provides a stage to showcase the independent artist complete with a great sound system and lights. It's also a great place for artists to network with other artists. Local Singer/Songwriter – Therese Maynard who performs often at 4thFridays and is a regular attendee writes:
"A Wonderful Night Out!! Always Exciting, always uplifting great entertainment. Worth the go!!! A very relaxing atmosphere, and place to get acquainted with local artists. Check it out if you want to meet other music lovers, or just get your groove on!! Don't 4get to pick up the artists' CDs for your collection or playlist as well."
Since 2002, at least 25 artists that have appeared at 4thFridays have also performed in prisons and other institutions in Michigan and in other states as well. By partnering with Prison Fellowship, we have unique opportunities to bring in engaging music to provide hope to "the least of these." Here is what a Deputy from Cotton Correctional shared about an event we held on the prison yard:
"I made rounds today and no less than 20 prisoners approached me and told me how much they appreciated and enjoyed
the service very much. I hope that you and your staff know that your visits are worthwhile and very much appreciated!
By donating to the CAMP, you are enriching the community with diverse Christian music and encouraging the independent artist to continue to share hope both in the community and behind the wall. We are a 501c3 organization so your donations are tax-deductible. You will receive a receipt from the CAMP stating that you donated to our organization.
Help us make a difference today. Thank you in advance!
