About The CAMP
The CAMP stands for Christian Artists and Musicians Project. Since 2002, the CAMP has showcased and assisted gifted independent artists who are Christians - primarily from Michigan and who are currently not in the spotlight of mainstream performance.
The organization was founded by husband and wife - Rufus Harris and Denise Strong Harris with the hopes of encouraging these artists to share the unique gift God had given them and to promote diversity in the community.
The CAMP's most visible event is 4thFridays with rufus harris - a monthly concert series held in a coffeehouse setting at Nardin Park United Methodist Church in Farmington Hills. 4thFridays has become one of Metro Detroit's premiere venues for showcasing diverse independent inspirational music. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.
